Garden Visit to Hergest Croft, Kington
1 August 2018

A handful of members enjoyed our summer garden visit to Hergest Croft, a 100-year old garden on the Welsh Marches containing, in all, 4,000 rare shrubs and trees. Luckily the temperature had dropped to a comfortable level. The gardens had suffered a little with the drought here & there (not surprisingly) but the agapanthus border along the back of the house was as splendid as ever.
