We had a fascinating visit to Moors Meadow. This large garden, mostly laid within a long sloping valley, was full of unusual trees and shrubs, creating their own microclimate. The owner is a true collector, buying varieties from plant hunters. Set amongst these rarities were blacksmith forged sculptures. Nearer to the house was a grass garden, fernery, and large kitchen garden. The owner gave us a 90 minute guided tour.
