Revd Charles Overton has been growing water lilies since he was 13. He ran the French National Water Lily Gardens for three years and replanted the lily pond at the Botanic Garden of Oxford University. Following his wonderful talk in 2018 we went to see Charles’ own collection at his private garden near Letton. 

 

Waterlilies were growing in his fishing lake and in cut-down wine barrels all along the drive.
